Quick Weight Loss Tips

Wow if there was a magic wand and super fast ways to lose weight we’d all be thin and trim in an instant! Keep this in mind…the fastest way to lose weight may not always be the best way. Magic wands may be only a dream but there’s definitely actions you can take that will lead you to the best way to lose weight…for YOU. Knowledge to help you to lose pounds, feel better, and avoid unhealthy ways to lose weight. Hey you only have one body right? Take care of it! Avoid, fast but unhealthy ways to lose weight, because they don’t last, and you’re playing with your health!

So here’s a couple of tips to get you started:

1. Don’t focus on what you CAN’T have, focus on what you CAN. In other words, feed your body so your cravings don’t control you! Have you ever noticed that when you eat certain foods (like certain TV dinners) that you just don’t feel satisfied? It’s because your body is still crying out to be nourished! So the cravings kick in. That’s your body saying FEED ME! Hey we all eat for emotional reasons too once in a while, but I know from experience that if I’ve properly nourished my body, my brain chemistry seems to be changed and the binges (emotional, or just physical) happen a lot less and are much easier to control.

2. No matter what eat some breakfast! But no giant stack of pancakes ok? No deep fried muffins, No heaping plate of fried greasy potatoes. Not that these foods are the devil…I mean who doesn’t like a deep fried muffin now and then? They just don’t nourish you, and they cause your blood sugar to spike then drop, and they leave you craving more because your poor body needs fuel. Try the Smoothie Recipe on the right side of this page…That’s the kind of thing to keep you going! Give eggs the rightful place they deserve…in YOUR stomach! Now I know eggs have gotten a bad rap. I don’t believe it, but if you feel you must go easy on the eggs, go easy, but don’t ban them! Keep Yogurt and fruit on hand. Almonds are fantastic! You’ll burn more calories and feel worlds better and you won’t have to go on some crazy starvation crash diet to lose weight fast, if you take a little care and feed yourself instead of depriving yourself. I know you’re looking for fast ways to lose weight, but don’t try to do it all in a week either…be kind to yourself!

3. My last little tip of the day is to deep breathe. No don’t just stand there and take a few deep breaths! Set aside a few minutes – ten would be great – and slowly breathe all the way in filling your stomach on up to your lungs, and then slowly breathe out. That’s it! For about 10 minutes! Your wonderful body will thank you! Think of it like this…stoking your metabolic furnace, oxygenating your blood. If you can give yourself just those 10 little minutes a day for a week, I’ll bet you will really notice the difference!
